Founded in December 2020 and officially opened in February 2022, KMD Medical Centre is a modern, dynamic medical hospital strategically located in Goodhope, just 5 kilometers from Cybercity, Zimbabwe’s New Parliament, and Westgate Shopping Complex.
Our facility, situated at 604 Beema Road, Mt. Hampden, serves a wide-ranging clientele from Harare’s western and northern suburbs. We are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services, catering to both acutely ill and chronically unwell patients, as well as promoting wellness programs tailored to individuals of all health statuses.

Dr. Kevin Dera (MBChB, UZ)

Co-Founder, Director

Dr. Kevin Dera is a distinguished general practitioner with extensive experience in both public and private healthcare sectors. As the parliamentary doctor for the Parliament of Zimbabwe and a board member of GrandMaster Academy, Dr. Dera seamlessly blends his medical expertise with entrepreneurial acumen and a passion for visionary leadership. Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Zimbabwe Business School, he is committed to advancing his leadership skills to drive innovation at KMD Medical Centre.

Dr. Michelle Mbohwa (MBBS, Dalian University)

Co-Founder, Director

Dr. Michelle Mbohwa is a poised and sharp-minded medical professional whose advanced training in China, South Korea, and South Africa brings a wealth of global expertise to KMD Medical Centre’s patient care approach. Her extensive international exposure is beautifully mirrored in the centre’s refined and tranquil ambiance, creating a welcoming space for all. Driven by a steadfast commitment to compassionate, patient-centered healthcare, Dr. Mbohwa leads with exceptional grace and vision, ensuring the centre mirrors those values.
